Phonics Screen Check Year 1 & 2
The phonics screening check is a test that assesses a child's ability to decode phonics and identify if they need extra help. It's a statutory requirement for all schools to administer the check to all Year 1 pupils and any Year 2 pupils who didn't meet the standard in Year 1.
